Panasonic Digital Cameras are designed in such a way that some of them seem to be similar to the traditional style of cameras. Lumix Digital SLR Cameras have interchangeable lenses with the first Leica lenses with MEGA Optical Image Stabilization designed specifically for a digital SLR camera. The only model available in this type of camera is DCM-L1K. This model has 7.5 Megapixel Digital SLR with Optical Image Stabilization ranging from 14mm – 50mm.

Day by day new features are being added for exposure, low angle viewing mode that makes viewing on LCD better, simplifies usage of lenses, adding software functionalities to surf all pictures taken, set all settings, change color temperature, ISO sensitivity, flash and so on. These makes easy to change settings as required for a specific picture and restore the original. Previously, Panasonic Digital Cameras had time restrictions to change the settings. Now that has been improved. Pictures or videos are compressed to JPEG 3 or 4 levels. This helps in more storage in a memory chip. Picture size can be set to various options. SD card, SDHC cards, Compact Flash, xD-Picture cards can be used to store pictures. Images can be viewed as thumbnails or in larger size. This makes easy to view just a specific or from a specific one or all of the picture(s). Lumix DMC-FZ8 has Intelligent ISO, Aerial, High sensitivity, Beach, Sunset, Pet such kind of new shooting modes.

Advantages of Using Panasonic Digital Cameras

Though Panasonic Digital Cameras are not that compact but the picture clarity, performance and features they provide are excellent. They can be easily carried around. Panasonic has always worked more on, how to make the best of traditional photography by using new and modern technology. The aforesaid models are the best example of this.
